For Sling by Clairo, I created a series of illustrations using Adobe Illustrator to represent the album's themes and key songs. The amoeba symbolizes hope in "Amoeba," capturing the sense of new beginnings amidst complexity. The flower, inspired by "Zinnias," reflects themes of motherhood and growth. The spilled wine glass in "Wade" represents the passage of time and the fleeting nature of moments. Lastly, the lighthouse in "Harbor" embodies isolation, serving as a guiding light amidst feelings of loneliness. The illustrations use a soft, muted color palette to evoke the melancholic and introspective mood of the album, tying together the emotional depth of each song while maintaining a cohesive, reflective visual style throughout.
